Initial configuration

Before you start serving customers, set up your organization:

1. Open the Scrap Golem app on your device.
2. Tap the three lines in the top left to open the navigation drawer, then tap Settings.
3. Tap Organization.
4. Check that your business name is correct, and add your address, phone number and business email address.
5. Set the rounding interval, which is used to round your transactions: "1" rounds to the nearest dollar and "0.25" to the nearest quarter.
6. Set the Signature message, which your customers see when they sign a ticket.

Commodities

Next, customize your commodities and categories by following this guide.

Cameras

Set up your cameras in Settings. Camera settings are saved on each device, so each device can show the camera for its location.

Prices

Finally, set your prices. Open the navigation drawer as before and tap Prices, then set the current price for each commodity. These prices can also be shown on your website; contact support for help setting that up.
