Scrap metal laws ask yards to know who they're buying from and to share that with law enforcement. Scrap Golem gathers those records as part of a normal ticket, so staying compliant doesn't mean extra paperwork at the counter.

Automatic LeadsOnline reporting

Add your LeadsOnline account to Scrap Golem and turn on automatic submission. Each ticket is then sent to LeadsOnline as soon as it's paid, with no end-of-day upload. You can also send a ticket by hand from the ticket or payment screen. Each report includes:

• The ticket number, date and time
• The seller's name, address, date of birth and ID number
• The vehicle's make, model, year, color and plate state
• Each item's description, net weight and amount paid
• The seller's thumbprint and the photos of the material

If a ticket is changed or voided after it's sent, LeadsOnline gets the update instead of a duplicate.

Do-Not-Buy checks

When you add a seller or driver to a ticket, Scrap Golem checks them against LeadsOnline's Do-Not-Buy list and shows any match, including the reporting agency and contact, before you buy anything.

Fingerprints

Capture a thumbprint for each ticket with a SecuGen Unity 20 Bluetooth fingerprint reader paired to an Android tablet. The print is saved with the ticket and included in its LeadsOnline report.

A complete record of every purchase

• Photos of the front and back of the seller's ID
• The seller's signature
• Photos of the material and the vehicle
• The license number of the weighmaster who weighed each item
• A warning before paying a seller whose ID has expired
• A list of tickets needing audit on the Admin screen: voided and reopened tickets, prices entered by hand, and payments to sellers with an expired ID, each marked once it's reviewed
